avuba General Meeting 2020

Dear avuba members,

We hereby warmly invite you to the avuba General Assembly 2020.

Registration: Please register until Friday, 20 November 2020, at avuba@unibas.ch with Patricia. The Zoom link and documents, if applicable, will be sent to the participants before 27 November 2020.

Agenda

  1. Welcome
  2. Election of vote counters and approval of the agenda
  3. Approval of the minutes of the General Assembly held on 2. December 2019
  4. Finances: a) Request to maintain the current membership fee of CHF 15 per semester, b) Annual report 2019, c) Expected 2020 and budget 2021
  5. Motions: a) amendments to the avuba bylaws, b) the resolutions on the discharge of the board, the general manager and the auditors
  6. Activity report 2020 of avuba
  7. Elections for 2021: Co-presidium, board and accounting auditors
  8. Outlook 2021
  9. Miscellaneous

Anyone wishing to get actively involved in avuba can run for the office of co-president (20% workload, paid). The avuba co-presidents 2021 will be elected by the avuba members present at the General Meeting on 27 November 2020. If you are interested, please send a short letter of motion by email to Patricia until 22 November 2020.

Good German language skills are required because most university documents are written in German and most meetings take place in German. If you would like to know more about the work involved as a co-president, please contact Ann-Kathrin, Camila or Patricia
