- contractual workloads and Protected Research Time are adhered to;
- dependence on supervisors is reduced by separating the roles of “hiring, supervision, and assessment”;
- research assistants are equally prepared for both academic and non-academic careers;
- permanent academic positions below the professorship level are established;
- academic careers are compatible with family obligations;
- high-quality research is promoted, and research assistants receive sufficient support in applying for grants;
- good, fair, and healthy working conditions are ensured;
- personal integrity is protected;
- research assistants’ right to participate in decision-making is guaranteed;
- and research assistants from abroad are integrated.
