Temporary contracts, irregular hours, and travel demands are not the easiest circumstances to start your family. Whether you (might) want to become a parent or already have a family, having kids during your PhD or Postdoc is a challenge. Luckily, the University of Basel can offer support. In this virtual lunchtime meeting, Lindy Bauer (Human Resources) and Patricia Zweifel (Diversity) will address various topics including planning, finances, and support options. Also, you can ask questions, and we will organize small group sessions for you to get to know other people.
