In the context of the Mentoring-Program of AlumniBasel and the University of Basel, we invite all interested students with non-EU/EFTA citizenship to attend our information event with the Office for Economy and Labour of the Canton of Basel-Stadt.

Corinne Bieler, Head of Work Authorizations will provide general information on the admission of foreign workers in Switzerland both during your studies and after.

This presentation will give you insights about the situation regarding work permits for non-EU/EFTA nationals in Switzerland and the legal and economic framework around the Work Permit Ordinance. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Thanks to this, you will be better able to manage your expectations when you start your job search in the Swiss labor market.

This event is open to all interested students and members of the University, especially for non-EU/EFTA nationals.
