courage to face the unknown, which can often make you question whether you should continue on this journey. The quality of your relationship with your thesis director and the presence of a supportive system can significantly influence your ability to navigate this path without losing your motivation, your hair, or your sanity!

Your body, including your brain, is a unique creative learning machine, designed through millions of years of evolution to survive and thrive. By understanding how and why to operate within the optimal range of human functioning, you can turn stressful experiences to your advantage, sustainably perform at your best, and thrive.

The session will explore the various contributors to becoming the best version of yourself through a well-crafted model of well-being*. We will then dive into physical movement (PM), a major contributor to well-being. We will dissect why PM is the button to push to activate a myriad of health benefits, sharpen your mind and focus, grow your neurons, improve your working memory, and enhance your problem-solving skills. One amazing fact about PM is that, at the optimal dose, it activates the secretion of mood-enhancing molecules, including the human version of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the main active ingredient in marijuana).

Session Facilitator: Dr. Sanae Tabnaoui is an innovative leadership developer on a quest to empower life science organizations and leaders to leverage human biochemistry to improve decision-making, performance and health. Sanae founded The Flourishing Incubator in Switzerland and pioneered the concept of Leadership Chemistry. Her approach to learning and development explores the mechanisms that underlie human biology, stress response, and social behavior, and how these elements influence leaders to make the right decision when it is the hardest thing to do. Since 2021, Sanae has facilitated over 55 workshops, helping thousands of leaders bridge the gap between scientific excellence and compassionate leadership.
